MONSTERS....sent to me by Hinky

So yesterday I was fortunate enough to get an in on a property that JLH has been wanting to get in or near for years due to the "MONSTERS" he's seen and knows live there due to its thick undercover and seclusion from outside pressures. I also got permission at another spot near where we currently have seen big deer and couldn't get close enough where we are.

When I called Troy and Jeff about the new find, they were both very excited about the possibilities which in turn made me even more excited.

So during dinner with the family last night I'm telling my wife about the spots and how Jeff feels there is a strong possibility of seeing/kiling a monster.

My 4 year daughter keeps trying to interupt saying, "DADDY, DADDY, DADDY!!!" Which I immediately shut down saying, "don't interrupt please, wait until Daddy is finished telling Mommy the story.

When I finish the story my wife says, "Caroline, now what did you want to ask Daddy?"

She says, "ARE THERE REALLY MONSTERS?"

My wife and Iook at each other like, what is she talking about?

So she says if there are rally monsters there I don't want to hunt there with Daddy and I don't think he should hunt there either.

Kids do say the darndest things!!!!!

Just got finished fletching Angies 1st Arrows

and I had a little help from my buddy RiRi...Fletched my new Carbon Express 3D Select Maxima 350s with all Orange Blazers and Fletched Angies 250s with all Pink Blazers on Bohning all White Wraps...

The eleven is back and in three weeks has put on some growth. Pretty cool how fast they grow. Looks like he's got a bladed G3 on the right side. Not very wide but nice and tall and a cool hooked brow.

Another buck has also showed up. Looks like a decent young eight or nine. Likely the buck that was travelling with the eleven late last winter.

Took the kids out to make a Mineral Site

The Kids love helping me with the pics and vids so they tagged along and helped Phil and I create a Mineral site with a new box of WYLD MINERALS...Caught a few cute little fellers on the way in...checked a cam along the way and it caught us in the act as well as some bucks before we got there..
