Boy do I love Spring!!!

Not only is it turkey season but we can still manage to find sheds and the sweetest little mushrooms on earth!!!

What a trip!!!

The hunting was tough with cool temps and quiet birds but we finally managed to get the attention of a good Tom!!!

Its been a bad year for Turkey sightings and sign at the Pa. Farm......SO....I decided to try and make something happen....The birds always seem to love fresh dirt for bugging so we cut two today and I think we will do another 2moro...

Tylers 1st Upland Hunt

Doug had given Tyler an awesome Christmas Gift and it was finaly time to cash it in...They went to Schraeders on Mds Eastern Shore for the day and shot sporting clays and some birds....Looks like Tyler will be ready for Iowa now....

Turkey Scouting in Pa.

Dawson and I scouted around the farm today....we didnt see any birds but found evidence and thats all I need....Found some decent scratchin and evidence of strutting....

Dont know what you call it but Jason was in the blind filming some Sikas down on the shore last night...He saw some stags but it was to dark for pics...saw a nice Tom as well...

They are cool to walk up on but I sure wish we didnt have to see them this way....sheddin 2nite...the place was a little picked over but we kinda knew that going into it.....found this guy though...our guess is a poachers bullet because it was near some new road construction...



Phil found one more little shed but it was to small to take a picture of.....hehehe

What an awesome orginazition run by a great group of folks we have here in Md. If you are not a member you are missing out!!!!

I have met more great people and shared more awesome hunts through the MBS and MWC than anywhere else....

The OVERKILL guys and gals got a little rowdy last night but it was for a great cause and was a wonderful time!!!

Last Day Crow hunt

Shot some of the winged rats this morning....had 6 by the time I had to leave for the Maryland Bowhunters Society Banquet tonight....

fun stuff....something I had never done before...Thanx for the invite Doug...

Not bad for a couple hours after work!!!

Phil and I found a couple handfulls of sheds 2nite....Phil finding his first set!!!...again the 2 in the set were lying right beside each other... We found about 5 old sheds along with 5 fresh and 2 deads...One of the dead bucks we found was a little dinky 3 pointer that hung out in front of my camera all season...

Found some more sheds and deads 2day....as well as removed one of the last remaining stands...

CJ found his first 4 sheds ever and we had a great time. The weirdest thing found was a dead 3 point that still had velvet on 90% of its spike side......Congrats Chris...you are hooked now....
