OVERKILL 3D Weekend

A bunch of hit the field this weekend at the Baltimore Bowmen Club

Chris was coming off a victory at the Harrisburg Outdoor Show MBR class shootoff so we knew it was gonna be tough...he whooped us all and dollars were signed over for the high score long distance and Hooter award at......Hooters for lunch.....what an awesome time!!!

Final Scores

Well, it was a great last day at the shoot. Troy ended up in a shoot out at the end....after all was said and done he ended up in 5th place. I am super proud of him!!!!

We are here at the airport this morning waiting to fly back to reality...which is good I guess. I want to thank everyone who rooted troy on from home via text messages....I know it made his day to have a cheering section!

Went to the top of the Stratosphere last night and got some Starbucks....Sushi for lunch 2day at RA Sushi Bar at the Fashion Show Mall......shooting 2day at 4

I shot well 2day ending up with a 300 and 23 super x's.....

must have been all of the partying I did with my Wife last night...hehehe

I wasnt such a prude and actually went out of the Riv and had some fun and tied one on....good stuff....the misses even dragged me into a strip club!!! Awesome!!! I love her!!!

The newest member of Team Overkill

My wife Jennifer gave birth to our 2nd daughter Caitlin Nicole last night (2/3/9) at 11:15pm. She is 7lbs and 12oz. and everyone is doing well!

This is what seems to be long overdue as we have had a couple false alarms, and expected her to go a little early.

Compared to the 1st one this 1:45 labor was nothing......"for me"......but wifey had to do this "drug free" as the baby was coming before the epideral could be done!!!! What a trooper she was, anyone that knows her would have bet their house that she couldn't have done it but once again the power of a mother comes through!!!!!

I couldn't be a prouder daddy right now and have never been as proud of my wife as I am now, after seeing what she did tonight.

Welcome to Overkill Caitlin, we'll have ya in the woods in no time!

Sika Stag on the drag

Phil finished off the season with a big reward....In the last hours of the season Phil got the monkey off his back and shot his first Sika Stag ever with his new Martin Warthog!!!....congrats Phil!!! we could not be happier for ya!!!

Last minute success!!!

Last night Kevin and I got skunked....again....its tough in the late season

Randy and Chris got skunked as well.....

We went 2 for 12 on shots at Squirrels with me being the big weiner for the night nailing both of them with my new Firehawk!!!!

On the other end of the county though....Doug took Tyler out for one last go and scored on a big ole mature doe..........Way to go Tyler!!!

and good luck Phil, Eric, and Jason who are on their way to Blackwater for one more shot at a Sika!!!

Oh....I almost forgot....congrats Kevin on the completion of a BACONATOR!!!you da man!!!we r so proud




Late season blues

The late season is whoopin me

I dont want it to be over but it is...............The deer sightings have been minimal to nil.....and I am not sure if Im grumpy cuz its over or I cant find a deer......Its been a great season for me so I cant complain......I just dont wanna have to wait til september to feel the feeling again!!!

Hunting 2nite in the Snow......Finally

I am meeting Jeff to hunt "The Cherry Tree" 2nite....we are looking for a late unshed buck or some freezer vitles....

Archery Shoot

Overall it was a great shoot. We always have a good time and we are always impressed by Rob and his crew...great job!

Lancaster Archery Classic / Team Overkill Update

After the first 2 days of qualification scores, Team Overkill co-founder Troy "bowtroll" Knoll is in the lead in the Men's Bowhunter Class.

Troy turned in a stout 646 and is getting ready for tomorrow's head to head eliminations.

The top 16 will go head to head (much like that if the NCAA Basketball Brackets) and head to head again down to 4. They then will be re-ranked based on qual. score and elimination scores and 4th place will shoot against 3rd, the winner shooting against 2nd and so on.

ie: if Troy is able to post a good elim round scores in the am. he stands a great chance to not only place but win!!!!

We're all behind you Troy.....represent......and don't just kill those X's...........OVERKILL them!

Overkill at the Lancaster Archery Classic

a bunch of the guys will be attending and a few will be shooting the Lancaster shoot....Jeff shot today at noon and I will be shooting 2moro at noon....I am hoping to have a better showing than I did last season when I stunk the place up with some below average shooting.....stay tuned...

So far this has just been a test for us working on the site but you can check back to see what is happening with the Overkill Crew. We only have a few days remaining in the 08/09 season and we are still at it. I will try and fill in some of my Journal entries as time permits but the upcoming season will be full of updates.

late night BV update.



Went through with the finetooth comb and nit picked some things. t first glance, you probaly wont notice the changes. Ther eare many. little more tears in the paper here and there. american flag added. Little things.



Wish I could figure out how to customise this blog, there has to be a way.
