Good weekend and week coming up

Youth Day is 2moro and the boys have been practicing up..........Alex and Tyler are loaded for bear.............Jason, Doug,.............you boys better put them in a good spot...

Our long lost buddy from the north has arrived in town for some rut action....Jay got in town last night and will be making his rounds with the guys this week at a variety of spots starting with Randy tomorrow morning........

Im taking my Uncle that was a major influence in my hunting career out with me to the Doctors on Tuesday...(thanx Kevin) Hopefully I can video Delmas shooting a buck before he heads off for his 3 week, 3 state, rifle hunting journey he takes every year....

and then..........its party time.........if all goes as planned it will be the first time all 12 of the Overkill boys will be able to hang out together!!! Video will be rollin for the party and UFC fight night!!!

Jason and Pilchard

Jason spent alot of time on those pesky Sika deer and has been behind the camera for Mike a ton.....so this forky paid for it.......Jason told me the freezer was gettin empty and this just proves that it does not have to be a giant to put a smile on your face...He will be Taking his son Alex out tomorrow for youth day....

The boys got it done!!! 2 bucks and a doe fell to kids with a combine age of 19!!! Way to go guys!!!

This was the weirdest, quickest, hunt I have ever been a part of.....Jeff smoke a monster 220 pound 159 inch whitetail in the craziest suburban setting I have ever videoed...the footage is craaaazy and the deer is massive!!!

What a morning

Sometimes the best hunts dont end up with an arrow being fired...
Jeff and I were hunting one of his rut hotspots this morning...........I am full time camera guy..........................for a while anyway

we had encounters with 3 great bucks...with the smaller 2 of the 3 begging for it....I even guilted Jeff to take a shot at one but a stick did not want him to hit the buck and sacrificed itself for the buck...saving his life...

but the big story of the morning was the giant 9 point that kept us pinned in the tree til 130 and walked out of our lives for the 3rd time of the morning....rut is fun but frustrating when the boys are bedding with a hottie....

What an evening!!!

Not quite Halloween yet (which is when Doug and I videoed a great buck at this same spot 2 years ago) but we did it again!!! Doug shot a fantastic 8 point at "The Orchard" !!! too much fun!!!

Glad to have been there to capture the action again!!! Congrats Bud!!!

I hope Itchy Trigger Finger Hinky can hold off!!!

because this will make an awesome full body mount in 2 or 3 more years!!! What a cool deer!!!

Doug SMOKED a big 6 and a fat doe with his muzzleloader on the opening evening of Muzzleloader at his newly aqquired farm....Congrats Doug!!!

Heading down to hunt sika last week I saw a buck that I had seen on my trailcam the last two years and had nicknamed "Crabby" for his crabclawed front tines....Well I videoed him while checking my cam...at mid day with athe big 6 and a smaller 8.....I never thought I would shoot him at a my new spot just under a mile away just a week later!!!
