Pa. Youth Day Success!!!!

I went along as the designated caller for Doug and his hunting machine of a Son Tyler....The kid is an animal....Better hunter than most adults I know...quiet, still, crack shot, and cool under pressure....What an unbelievable hunt...It was so cool to be videoing Father and Son on the first successful Turkey Harvest for either of them...I think this was the third year?.....of trying to get Tyler a Turkey and it all came to a head this morning....I am so proud of Tyler for doing all the right things and getting this accomplished...we kinda had to set up in the open and were "on stage" for the bird to see us for about 100 yards....100 yards of spitting and strutting for about 15 minutes as he closed the gap to his hot foam sweetheart at the top of the old rd. Boy does it look cool in HD as the white softball head we saw coming through the brush popped into the open and flushed with red as he made visual on the decoy...Tyler smoked the bird and let out a big war whoop!!! Said repeatedly that he could not believe that it had finally happened!!! I'm pumped for both you guys and really enjoyed being able to help!!!

What a fun time!!! Both of the little woodswomen found their first Morels...along with a million other bugs and snails and flowers!!! Too Much Fun!!!

What in the heck happened to this thing...never seen anything like it...hollow inside for about 3 inches...even feels hollow up around the g2...Doug and I were out shedding...found a few and when I walked up on this thing i had to think twice before pickin it up....

What a Riot!!!

Jason, Kevin, and I took the boys for a shed hunt on Sunday...It was a crazy time with these nuckleheads....Dawson and Alex(or Ryan as Kevin likes to call him) were infatuated with trash...well...glass bottles of soda that they had never heard of...while Kicky was all about the deer bones...which we found far to many of unfortunately...

We found some decent new and old sheds and a few good dead bucks that had apparently been found b4 by some shed hunters on one of the public spots we hit...

Found some we have had a history with as well which is always a plus...
